The current generation Nissan Maxima is a luxury performance car powered by 3.5 liter VQ series V6 engine seen in other Nissan cars. The Nissan Maxima engine can generate power up to 290 hp.

On the negative side of the car, the rear seat in the car seems to be useless with premium or sport packages and the packages offered are expensive in comparison to the other competitor models.
