This classic is a sedan body style model available in two different versions- SE and the GXE. The power to the vehicle comes from the 3.0 liter V6 engine that produces 160 hp at an angular speed of 6000 rpm and torque of 154 lb ft.
Engine
Upon introduction, both the models are powered by a standard 3.0 liter V6 engine and offer two different transmissions. Both the variants are offered with a four wheel drive system. Some of the main features that attract customers towards the vehicle are instrument controls, acceleration, handling features and drive comfort. On the negative side, this model has poor fuel economy rates and low headroom.
Performance
The car is not only wider and longer, but also has increased wheel base, by four inches. The V6 engine in the car is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission in the GXE version, while five-speed manual in the SE model. It also offers automatic transmission as optional.
The fuel economy achieved by the SE model in the city premises is 17 miles per gallon and 24 miles per gallon on the highway roads, where as the fuel economy by the GXE model is 19 and 25 miles per gallon in the city and on highway.
