The Nissan Maxima is a luxury sedan model powered by a 3.5 liter V-6 engine that produces power up to 290 hp at an angular speed of 6400 rpm and torque of 261 lb ft at an angular speed of 4400 rpm. The 2009 Nissan Maxima is a totally redesigned version of its predecessor model.

The 3.5 liter V6 engine is paired to a CVT automatic transmission and with this powerful engine, the luxury sedan model can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a time span of just 6.2 seconds. The fuel economy achieved by this engine is 20 and 27 miles per gallon in the city and on the highway respectively. The four door sedan model has the seating capacity to accommodate up to five passengers and it is offered in four wheel drive. The 2009 Nissan Maxima is offered in two different trim versions- S and the SV levels.
